プロフィール
日本を代表するインストゥルメンタルグループ、DIMENSION。1992年4月、アルバム「Le Mans」でデビュー。
17年間という活動歴で21枚というハイペースで作品をリリースしている。それぞれの作品の音楽的評価は高く、
日本のインストゥルメンタルシーンを着実に切り開いてきた。
音楽誌「ADLIB」で、1994年・1996年・1997年・2003年・2007・2008年と国内ベストアルバム賞を受賞。
バンドとしてはもちろんメンバー個々の評価も高く、常に人気投票ランキング上位に選出されている。
ライブ活動もその高い演奏能力を存分に披露し、ジャンルを限定しないクラブ等におけるパフォーマンスや、
国内外のフェスティバルイベントにも積極的に参加(韓国SEOUL JAZZ FESTIVALや東京JAZZ、代々木第一体育館でのCROSS OVER JAPAN等)、
国内のアーティストだけでなく海外アーティストとも多数共演をしている。
DIMENSIONの活動としてはもちろん、個々のスタジオミュージシャンとしての活動も、各方面からさらなる注目を浴びている。
2007年に結成15周年を迎えた後、2008年2月に初の韓国ワンマンライブを『Baekam Art Hall』で大盛況に終えた。
同じく2008年11月リリースのアルバム「21」はADLIB AWARDS 2008国内JAZZ/FUSION賞を受賞。
