プロフィール
1983年、ウェイン・コイン（g）を中心に米オクラホマで結成され、息の長い活動を続けるUSインディの老舗バンド。当初のサウンドはガレージ色が強かったが、サイケデリックな音響意識にもとづく実験的アプローチを次第に強め、90年代にメジャー契約を得ると、その緻密に組み上げられたアーティスティックな音響感覚に対する評価が世界で一気に高まる。めくるめく音響絵巻ともいえる99年の『ザ・ソフト・ブレティン』は世界の評論家の絶賛の的に。その後もコンスタントにリリースを続け、2013年4月にはアルバム『ザ・テラー』を発表。2014年夏のフジロックに出演。
